SeaSketch

SeaSketch is a web-based platform used to support collaborative marine spatial planning. SeaSketch can collect data and geospatial layers form public and private services and provide them through an interactive web map interface. At the same time, users can generate alternative proposals representing zoning, regulatory, management plans and the feedback of stakeholders most affected by those decisions. This information is then mapped and integrated on SeaSketch, which uses optimization and simulation models to present decision scenarios to the stakeholders. SeaSketch has been developed by the McClintock Lab at the University of California Santa Barbara.
