Marine protected areas to be established

Approximate location of Italian national marine protected areas to be established ('Aree marine di reperimento'). 52 'Aree marine di reperimento' have been identified in accordance with the provisions of laws 979/82 art.31, 394/91 art.36 and subsequent amendments. Of these, 29 have already been established. The dataset contains the remaining 23 Aree marine di reperimento.
